Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

After a brief run earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.

In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
